At Blue Chip we keep businesses running, providing businesses with mission critical IT support since 1987
With over thirty years experience in the industry we provide the infrastructure behind many of the largest brands in the UK. Specialising in mission critical systems through our Tier 4 data centre, Blue Chip provides the ecommerce backbone for high street retailers whilst managing 10% of the UK's banking traffic, keeping business running all over the world. From hardware and hosting to software and support, we work to advance your IT - making it work harder for your business.


Sustainability is a key element of our ethos. We own and operate two market-leading data centres in the UK, one Tier 4 by design and one Tier 3, both of which are carbon neutral. They have a Power Usage Effectiveness of 1.1 - making them some of the greenest facilities in Europe.

Brian Meredith

After serving in the Royal Navy as an IT Engineer, Brian worked for IBM as a Field Customer Engineer. In 1985 he left IBM to set up Blue Chip, promising market leading customer service. He has built Blue Chip to be the award winning business it is today, successfully delivering maintenance, managed services, disaster recovery, data availability, software support, application development and hardware sales.
Julie Goodway
Service Desk Lead
As the Service Desk lead responsible for the day to day management of the Service desk function, Julie ensures the customer journey though all communication channels is an exceptional one. Julie ensures the team demonstrate to customers their expertise and knowledge and deal with all enquiries in a speedy and professional manner, ensuring the best in class customer experience.
Chotin Elstob
System Service Engineer (North East & Scotland)
Chotin is a field service engineer based mainly from Blue Chip customer sites. Looking after customers all over the north including Greggs, Newcastle Building Society, Crosslings and HP Chotin travels around supporting our customers on site, whilst getting to see some of the best scenery in England and Scotland!
