We’re hiring: Junior Sales Executive

Job summary

This role will be responsible for generating and growing new business through building and maintaining contacts and relationships with business following a period of intensive on-the-job learning and under guidance of more senior Sales professionals. To be responsible for the renewal of hardware maintenance contracts. To represent Blue Chip in the assigned region in a professional and ethical manner.

Key result areas

• Generate and follow up on sales leads within the product/services range assigned
• Build a rapport with prospective clients within the industry and maintain effective client relationships
• Renew maintenance quotes before the renewal date is due
• To work well with other business functions in Blue Chip enabling an excellent Customer Experience
• To renew at least 80% of all hardware maintenance contracts before the renewal date is due
• To support the delivery of Business Strategy by reaching sales targets agreed with the Leadership Team after a period of training
• To implement new sales campaigns for the existing customer base
• To maintain current and full knowledge of Blue Chip’s services portfolio
• Constantly seek ways to develop new leads and maximise opportunities using all other available sales resources with the group as appropriate and with support of senior sales professionals
• To maintain sales and customer relationship systems and provide reports as requested
• To manage all quotations as requested by customers and respond to any request in a timely manner
• To maintain full and up to date knowledge and understanding of the competition within the market and keep abreast of any changes in the industry
• To stay current with all relevant technical knowledge of support services
• To maintain and protect Blue Chip’s reputation by always acting ethically and professionally
• To understand and fulfil the responsibilities for secure management of personal data of both internal and external customers in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2018

Key Personal Requirements

• To have completed at least 6 months in a telesales role
• Achieved GCSE Grade C or equivalent in Maths & English
• Some experience in professional world, preferably in B2B
• Passionate about technology
• Target driven and able to work well under pressure
• Commercial awareness
• Ability to self-motivate
• Driven to win and succeed
• Enthusiastic and flexible
• Ability to take initiative and organise and manage their own workload and priorities
• Willingness to work hard and progress within the company
• Ability to adapt to new ways of working and be guided by others
• Good communication skills in written and spoken English
• Well presented and with professional approach
