This pro-active service is designed to eliminate failures and potential failures before they occur. Blue Chip relies upon their unrivalled IBM Mid Range experience and expertise which is second to none within the UK.
At the inception of the contract, Blue Chip will document and define all responsibilities and boundaries of tasks to be undertaken. The service will provide agreed manual and automated tasks and checks, along with the associated frequencies. We will advise and recommend what we believe these should be. However, customer specific additional operations can be added. Blue Chip will additionally provide strategic performance, stability and security recommendations as a trusted advisor.
The standard service typically includes;

- Operating System patching
- Job and service completion
- Back up verification
- Integrity of system stability and security
Reports include:
- Hardware errors
- Service errors
- Detailed availability and trend analysis
