Internal Account Manager/Sales Executive

Job Summary:

  • To generate and grow new business opportunities within the existing client base and/or new clients for the Services division of the sales department.
  • To reach and exceed all quarterly and annual targets.
  • To present a professional and ethical image at all times.

Duties:    

  • To understand/sell Blue Chip’s services portfolio.
  • Constantly seek ways to develop and maximise opportunities with existing leads using all other available sales resources with the group as appropriate.
  • To produce/update a monthly pipeline that will be achieved during the month/quarter.
  • Control and update CRM systems
  • To manage all quotations as requested by customers and to respond within a timely manner.
  • To understand the competition within the market and keep abreast of any changes.
  • To work with the technical support department to ensure customer services is delivered at all times.
  • To stay current with relevant technical knowledge of support services.

Skills & Attributes: 

  • Successful track record in Sales.
  • Must be from an IT sales background, experience in the IBM midrange arena advantageous.
  • A background in business to business selling is essential
  • Be able to achieve targets and meet deadlines
  • Must be able to generate new business leads
  • Excellent negotiation, communication and customer relationship skills at all levels.
  • Must be self motivated & driven
  • Have the ability to work under own initiative
  • Be a team player
