Internal Account Manager/Sales Executive
Job Summary:
- To generate and grow new business opportunities within the existing client base and/or new clients for the Services division of the sales department.
- To reach and exceed all quarterly and annual targets.
- To present a professional and ethical image at all times.
Duties:
- To understand/sell Blue Chip’s services portfolio.
- Constantly seek ways to develop and maximise opportunities with existing leads using all other available sales resources with the group as appropriate.
- To produce/update a monthly pipeline that will be achieved during the month/quarter.
- Control and update CRM systems
- To manage all quotations as requested by customers and to respond within a timely manner.
- To understand the competition within the market and keep abreast of any changes.
- To work with the technical support department to ensure customer services is delivered at all times.
- To stay current with relevant technical knowledge of support services.
Skills & Attributes:
- Successful track record in Sales.
- Must be from an IT sales background, experience in the IBM midrange arena advantageous.
- A background in business to business selling is essential
- Be able to achieve targets and meet deadlines
- Must be able to generate new business leads
- Excellent negotiation, communication and customer relationship skills at all levels.
- Must be self motivated & driven
- Have the ability to work under own initiative
- Be a team player
