Job Summary:
The Business Compliance Consultant is responsible for ensuring ongoing compliance to current Standards whilst highlighting any risks of non compliance. The Business Compliance Consultant role is also to enhance business performance through Business Process Improvements, effective Change Management and Performance Improvements through Blue Chip.
Duties:
Compliance Management
- To be the business point of contact and competent person in all accreditations including external compliance auditors.
- To ensure all compliance elements for existing certifications are carried out in a timely, effective and efficient manner.
- Working with the business, research the impact of new working practices and certifications for external and internal requirements as deemed necessary. Collate own findings by analysis and feedback to the Senior and Strategic Management Teams.
- To effectively introduce any new certifications as proposed by the Business.
- Continually drive quality standards and continued improvements to existing processes.
- To maintain the Company Business Continuity Plan, ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO27001 and SOC2; effectively communicate throughout the Business providing training where applicable
Business Process
- Support Business Process improvement initiatives to deliver agreed customer / business benefits.
- Analyse existing Business Processes and support the design of new effective workflows ensuring efficiency and Business suitability is maximised and in line with the strategy of the Senior Management Team.
- To effectively facilitate Internal Business Process Workshops where required.
- To support the Senior Management Team to create, maintain and develop robust and streamlined operating and performance systems and processes.
- Help to establish meaningful metrics within the business and, as a result, analyse these metrics to support further improvements, identification of problems and opportunities whilst using effective problem solving and change management techniques to resolve them.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with a network of stakeholders to help implement best practice solutions and ensure appropriate and effective use of resources.
Project & Change Management
- To work on Strategic Projects set by the Senior Management Team as required.
- To be a key player in driving and supporting effective change management within the Business.
- Act as a ‘Champion’ of any new Process Initiatives within Blue Chip assisting with any implementation as required.
Skills
- ISO Compliance experience in the following:
- ISO 9001:2008
- ISO 14001:2004
- ISO 27001:2005
- Knowledge of SAS70 / SOC2 an advantage
- Ability to develop and maintain the Company Business Continuity Plan.
- Business Continuity Practitioner qualification an advantage
- Project orientated
- Business Process Management (BPM) awareness
- Ability to map Business Processes
- Good knowledge & use of Microsoft applications
- Understanding of effective change management
- Administration & analytical skills
